KEY
CHANGE RANGE:
Pitch
change from -5 to +5 semitones (half-note steps) up or down for your
voice key. Multiple passes can go even further with most music
remaining clear and undistorted with Version 2.008.
DIGITAL
KEY CHANGE
After
Keyrite processing, music instruments have no "chipmunk"
or time speed up or down, holding the tempo the same. If you are
looking to perform your Karaoke songs on stage, Keyrite will do a
wonderful job for you. Order Keyrite 2.008 if you want the highest
quality digital key changing. Keyrite 1.400 can cause some warbling
distortion, but most people do not hear it.
KEYRITE
IS EASY TO USE
Singers
find it logical and easy to open a karaoke file on their computer
hard drive imported with Microstudio, change the key while they
listen, then write the new pitch changed song back to the hard drive.
Use Microstudio and an MTU or equivalent CDG certified cd burner to
import original songs, and then write your key changed CDG songs back
to a CDR blank disc to play in any Karaoke Player machine.
KEY
CHANGE KARAOKE
CD+G SONGS OR AUDIO ONLY
Keyrite
can process either a .cdg file with music and lyrics, or an audio cd
song read in as a .wav file. Microstudio software can read and write
both file formats. You can change pitch live while you are listening
to the sound to key change the music for your voice. After
processing, the karaoke graphics and song lyrics remain in sync with
the music!
PITCH
CHANGE LIVE AND OFF-LINE
Clicking
the semi-tone pitch change buttons while playing instantly key
changes to find the right key for your voice if your computer is fast
enough. If it is not fast enough, you can still hear the pitch change
with audio dropouts.
However,
when you write your key changed file to the hard drive, it will be
correct without audio dropouts with any processor speed computer.
VOCALS
DO NOT CHANGE
Keyrite
is designed for music only. Vocals and background vocals will not
key change correctly, so singers will not sound like themselves, but
rather sound like the opposite sex if changed ±2 or more up or
down. However, it will not sound like a "chipmunk" or play
faster or slower; the tempo stays the same.
STAND-ALONE
PROGRAM
Keyrite
opens a karaoke cdg song or audio song on the hard drive, and writes
the new key pitch changed song back to the hard drive. It does not
require any other programs to do this. To import and then write your
key changed songs to a Karaoke CDG disc requires Microstudio and a
CDG Certified CD Burner
COMPUTER
